Hein Ehlers, CEO of Devmark Property Group has just recently been inducted into the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) Hall of Fame for his outstanding leadership, dedication and commitment to the property development industry. 

 

While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only 10 honored IAOTP members are inducted into the exclusive IAOTP’s Hall of Fame.  These special honorees are distinguished based on their longevity in their fields, their contributions they have made to society and the impact they had on their industries. Mr. Ehlers has been honored at IAOTP’s annual awards gala in Las Vegas 2019 for not only this award but also for his selection for the Business Innovator Award by IAOTP. www.iaotp.com/award-gala

 

Mr. Ehlers was selected for this honor for having over 2 decades of professional experience in property Development and Investments.  As a dynamic results-driven leader, Mr. Ehlers has demonstrated success not only as a CEO & Managing Director, but has led the Devmark Property Group to be recognized as one of the top property development and investment companies in the Western Cape of South Africa.  Mr. Ehlers key responsibilities for Devmark, is handling business strategy, implementation, marketing, project development, financial management, legal matters, property management and overseeing financial execution.

 

Mr. Ehlers earned his MBA in Finance from Stellenbosch University and received his BSoc Sc Degree.  The President of IAOTP, Stephanie Cirami stated that “Choosing Mr. Ehlers for this award was an easy decision for our panel to make.  He is a brilliant, talented and a leader in property development and financial management. He was exactly what we were looking for and we know we will be seeing more outstanding things from this man.  We cannot wait to spend time with him at our gala this year.”

 

Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Ehlers has been recognized worldwide and has received many awards, accolades’ and featured in several publications.  For 2019 he graced the front cover of T.I.P (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine and was selected as Business Innovator of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals.  For 2018, he was named Top CEO of the Year by IAOTP.  For 2016, he was selected by Bristol Who’s Who as Outstanding Professional of the Year and inducted into Worldwide Branding for his contributions to his industry.  For 2013 he was recognized by Worldwide Who’s Who for his outstanding leadership and commitment to property development.  In 1998, Mr. Ehlers was recognized for his contributions to property in the Western Cape by the Institute of Marketing Management.

 

Looking back, Mr. Ehlers attributes his success to his perseverance, mentors he has had along the way, attention to detail and his understanding of the property market in South Africa.  Mr. Ehlers says he has been blessed and he loves doing what he is doing, and feels this is just the beginning. When he is not working he enjoys reading, golfing and traveling.  For the future, he will continue to thrive as an entrepreneur and hopes to continue to make a difference in people’s lives anyway that he can.
