Dr. Eleanor Zeitlen Avinor , Marriage and Family Therapist, Academic CEO of KEG International, Former Researcher & Teacher at the University of Haifa in Israel, was recently selected for the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for the Year 2020 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP), for her influence, proficiency and dedication to her professional life.
Inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only a few members are selected for the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. These special honorees are distinguished based on their longevity in their career, contributions to society and their impact on their industries. Dr. Avinor is being recognized for this honor for dedicating over 30 years of her life’s work as an accomplished Psychotherapist. As a talented and passionate, dynamic, results-driven leader, Dr. Avinor has demonstrated success not only with her own practice but also as a seasoned and trusted voice in psychotherapy who founded KEG Cards, which are therapy tools she created to help foster emotional growth and are now used all over the world.
Within her practice, Dr. Avinor has helped her clients resolve family disputes, marital problems, childhood wounds, overcome obstacles, decrease symptoms of anxiety, depression, and addiction/eating disorders. She has developed a trust with her clients, helping them uncover their true authentic self, leading to self-acceptance, trauma resolution, effect personal change, overcome challenges and help restore balance and harmony in all relationships. Her impressive repertoire of prior roles included Academic CEO of KEG International, Researcher & Educator with the University of Haifa in Israel.
Aside from her day to day responsibilities with her practice, Dr. Avinor is also a sought-after lecturer, speaker and published Author. She has authored papers like “Shirley: There is Not Enough” for the Psychology and Behavioral Science International Journal and she has been invited to conduct workshops both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Avinor received her Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Master of Arts from the University of Hafia. She has a Master of Science in Psychotherapy from the University of Derby. Earned her PhD in Education from the University of New Mexico and completed coursework in psychotherapy at the School of Psychotherapy at Rambam Hospital Medical School.

Throughout her remarkable career Dr. Avinor has received awards and has been recognized worldwide for her outstanding leadership and her commitment to the profession. She was recently featured in TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine and will be receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Association of Top Professionals. In 2018 she was named Top Psychotherapist of the Year by IAOTP. Dr. Avinor remains active in EABCT and USATAA. She has been featured in a wide range of Who’s Who publications including Medicine and Healthcare, Who’s Who in America and also Who’s Who in the World.
Looking back, Dr. Avinor attributes her success to her perseverance, mentors she has had along the way and her endless passion for helping people better their mind, their body and relationships. She is always striving to utilize her platform to better the lives of others. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. For the future, she will continue her quest to continue to make a difference in people’s lives anyway that she can.
