She was just recently named Woman of the Year for 2021 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).

 

While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only 1 Woman is selected for this distinction based on their years of experience in the field, professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, and contributions to their communities. This is the female member of IAOTP that has demonstrated a lifetime of achievement and success throughout their career. Theodora is being recognized for this honor for having over three decades of professional experience in the Legal Industry and Real Estate Industry. She was also selected for the Empowered Woman Award and Lifetime Achievement Award for 2020. She was honored at IAOTP’s Annual Awards Gala at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas as Top Broker of the Year for 2019. Theodora will be returning this year to IAOTP’s Gala being held at the Plaza Hotel in NYC to accept the Woman of the Year Award for 2021 and the Lifetime Achievement Award for 2020.

Theodora earned her Bachelor of Arts from the Netherlands, her JD from the Groningen University School of Law with specialization in real estate and tax laws, and did Post Graduate studies at the Fredric G. Levin College of Law at the University of Florida, and Emory Law School in Atlanta. She speaks Dutch, German and English Fluently.

Throughout her illustrious career Theodora has received awards, accolades and has been recognized worldwide for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the profession. For 2020 she was selected as Woman of the Year. In 2019 she was selected as Top Broker of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) and was honored at their Annual Awards Gala at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas for this distinction. Theodora was also featured on the famous Reuters building in Times Square for her distinction with IAOTP. For 2018, she was named Top Broker Second Home International Utrecht the Netherlands. Then in 2017, she was selected as Florida Realtor Featured Global Realtor. For 2015, she was the recipient of the Good Neighbor Award. In 2014, Theodora received the National Association of Realtors Commercial Award, in 2013 listed in Leadership Florida Realtors and received the Pillar of the Community by the Orlando Regional Realtors Association. In 2010, Mrs. Uniken Venema was listed in Leadership Orlando Realtors and named Top Real Estate Broker in Hamburg Germany. In 2012 Theodora was named Realtor of the Year by the Central Florida Association of Realtors. In 2011 she received the Circle of Achievement Award, International Realtor of the Year by the Orlando Regional Realtors Association, and Community Service Award by CFCAR Central Florida Commercial Association of Realtors, just to name a few. 

 

Aside from her successful career, Theodora also serves on numerous boards, committees and is a sought-after lecturer and public speaker. She has contributed to numerous publications and articles and is active in her community. She serves as Director of the Women Council of Realtors Orlando Regional, has served as a Distinguished Toastmaster, Past Vice President of Administration for the Central Florida Commercial Association of Realtors, Chairman of the Market Diversity Committee, Director of the Orlando Regional Realtor Board, Director of the Dutch American Business Club of Central Florida, just to name a few.

 

She has recently appeared on the Donna Drake Show “Live it up” for CBS New York, has a regular appearance on “Way of Living” on the Netherlands TV and she is the host on IHeart Radio her program “Only in America.”

 

Looking back, Theodora attributes her success to her perseverance, mentors she has had along the way, and staying passionate in all her business endeavors. When not working, she enjoys traveling, and spending time with her family. For the future, she hopes to continue to make a difference in people’s lives any way that she can.
